The real differentiator
What time do we leave?
On the water by 6am means Padar before the fleet. Collected at 7:30 means you pay for it at every stop after.
Group size
How many aboard?
Eight to twelve is comfortable for couples. Thirty people on a boat sized for fifteen changes every stop, not just the deck.
Inclusions
What is included, in writing?
Meals, gear, ranger fees, park entry. The most common omission is park fees, and it is rarely accidental.
Crew
Who is in the water with us?
At Manta Point the current does the swimming. A crew member in the water and a briefing beforehand is the line between good and careless.
Small Boat or Large
Size is a trade, not a safety ranking.
Smaller boats
