May, June or September if you want calm seas and clear water. December to February if mantas are the reason you are coming.

Is the green season a bad idea?

No, but it is a trade. Cheaper, greener and emptier, with a real chance the southern leg gets dropped for swell.

Does it rain all day in the wet season?

Rarely. Rain tends to come in short heavy bursts. The sea, not the sky, is what changes your itinerary.

When are the crowds worst?

July and August, then the Christmas and New Year window. Padar at 8am in August is a queue.

Can I see mantas outside December to February?

Yes — sightings run year-round at Manta Point. The peak months simply improve the odds.
